• Source: URA Taxpayer Register exports (Outputs_27072026.xlsx, "Registration head" and "Registration output"), extracted 27 Jul 2026. Source A coverage FY2015/16-FY2024/25; Source B coverage FY2015/16-FY2025/26 (partial year). Registration and cancellation series in Source A are numerically identical in the raw export (verified; source-system data-quality artefact), retained as provided. The two ISIC sector breakdowns in Source B (descriptive-label and single-letter-code) are BOTH retained — they were initially, incorrectly, assumed to be duplicates and one was dropped; both are now included since their category-level counts differ despite a matching grand total (see data_dictionary note). The F/M field is interpreted as Gender, not a "channel code" as an earlier draft mislabelled it — see data_dictionary for the basis of that interpretation and its confidence caveat.
